Sabrina Fritsch at the "Blauer Salon"

As part of our new series “Blue Hour” in our blue room we present the artist Sabrina Fritsch, this year’s winner of the Art Cologne New Postion Award.

The Edition for Kunst & Denker Contemporary in cooperation with the gallery VAN HORN, is using a Risograph, like many of her current works and her artist’s book “1/100”, a printing technique, which creates the precise structures on her paintings.

    Cooperation with SITEmagazine

We are excited to announce the new cooperation with the famous SITEmagazine, which was first published in 1999 in Düsseldorf Germany. Its ambition is to take a look behind the scenes of the media world, publications, interpretations and contextualizations of artists. The close relationships and collaborations with artists is at the heart of the magazine.  SITEmagazine is not focused on reviews, but rather an exhibition in printed format. It compiles contributions which should be approached as artworks themselves.

Tim Berresheim speaking at CreativeMornings Düsseldorf

For the NYC CreativeMornings series in Dusseldorf we invited the artist Tim Berresheim to the famous Schmela house to talk about the revolution and paradigm shift in picture genesis: What role do mistakes play and what changes if I am aware that mistakes can and might happen? How should you deal with fractures and faults in 2015? Tim Berresheim raises interesting questions and provides different approaches with his presentation “Aus alter Wurzel neue Kraft – unbiasedness as a method of operation”. The video of the lecture can be found here:
